5 Days Bwindi and Volcanoes NP gorilla trekking : Encounter the gorillas of Uganda and Rwanda in a 5-day Bwindi and Volcanoes NP trek, starting with the gorillas of Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and then on to the gorillas of Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park.

Day 1: Airport pick-up and transfer to Hotel

As soon as you land at Entebbe International Airport, our representative will greet you and arrange a transfer to the Kampala hotel that you have reserved. It takes an hour to get here. Dinner and overnight stay at the Fairway Hotel, the Forest Cottages, or the luxurious Sheraton Hotel (budget)

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park

After breakfast, meet the driver early in the morning for your transport to Kisoro, which will take you there in around 7 hours with stops for lunch and the equator. Come at the gorilla resort in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at Ichumbi gorilla lodge or Clouds Mountain gorilla lodge, depending on your budget (budget)

Day 3: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Volcanoes national park (Rwanda)

 After breakfast, be driven to the park headquarters where the park warden will brief you on trekking for mountain gorillas before connecting you to the forest to look for the gorillas. The duration varies from 2 to 8 hours depending on the gorillas’ movement. Unexpectedly encountering gorillas is one of the most enthralling lifetime events. You will get the opportunity to see and snap pictures up close. Adults will be seen eating and moaning to one another. After spending an hour with the eagerly anticipated gorillas, your ranger guide will take you back to the beginning, where your driver will be ready to take you to Kisoro town for lunch.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking experience

The park warden will give you a briefing about the critically endangered mountain gorillas after you have breakfast early in the morning. The vehicle will leave you off at the starting location for the gorilla walk with the ranger guides along with your trekking supplies, water, and a packed lunch. Searching for the gorillas might take anything from one to eight hours, depending on their movement. You will only spend a maximum of an hour with them, but meeting them is extremely fulfilling as you take your time studying them and recording photos and films. See the interesting mountain gorillas for a while, then head back to the base to meet your driver and continue to your lodge for lunch and a break.

Take a cultural stroll to Iby’iwachu Cultural Village after lunch if you have time. Day 5: Golden Monkeys tracking and return to Kigali

 Go to the park headquarters after an early morning meal so that the park warden may enlighten you about the endangered golden monkeys. then enter the jungle to look for the rare golden monkey after connecting to the tracking starting point. This activity, which allows for a closer look at other primates in the park like red-tailed and vervet monkeys, can last anywhere from one to five hours.
