Uganda Gorilla Permit 2022 : A Uganda Gorilla Permit is the key access to the Famous gorilla trekking experience in the country without which you cannot be able to participate in the activity, the identification document details when you have paid for the permit and are eligible to trek, Mountain Gorillas are found in Bwindi impenetrable national park and the Mgahinga national park, host most of the world population of Mountain gorillas half of which are in Bwindi and the other shared amongst ecosystems in the Virunga volcanic region along the floor of the great Albertine rift valley( Volcanoes national park in Rwanda, Virunga national park in the democratic republic of Congo and Mgahinga national park in Uganda. Before booking a gorilla permit, it is important to note that 8 permits are issued per day per gorilla family so it is important to book permits in time, especially during the tourism peak seasons between June-September and December- February, Uganda Gorilla Permit 2022

The terrain of the forest is a steep slope that requires one to be well equipped with proper hiking boots, rain gear, waterproof covers for phones and Cameras, a hiking support stick, and insect repellant. Gorilla permits vary in price according to season however the normal standard permit price of a Gorilla is USD 700(Foreign non-residents), USD 600(Foreign residents), and 250,000 UGX (Ugandan and East African citizens). Gorilla trekking is done beginning in the morning with a briefing from the Uganda wildlife authority team member, led through by a ranger guide,  there are rules and regulations for the Uganda gorilla put in place to protect the animal species some of these include not visiting the primates with a cold or any form of communicable disease.
