Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National park.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking experience.

After an early breakfast, you will be taken to the park’s administrative/headquarters where the park guide will give you a briefing on the critically endangered mountain gorillas. The vehicle will leave you off at the starting location for the gorilla walk with the ranger guides along with your trekking supplies, water, and a packed lunch. Searching for the gorillas might take anything from one to eight hours, depending on their movement. You will only spend a maximum of an hour with them, but meeting them is extremely fulfilling as you take your time studying them and recording photos and films. See the interesting mountain gorillas for a while, then head back to the base to meet your driver and continue to your lodge for lunch and a break. Day 3: Transfer to Nyungwe national park.

On the 3rd day of your 5 Days Uganda and Rwanda safari, After indulging in a superb breakfast, set out on your 6-hour drive from Bwindi to Nyungwe Forest National Park. After crossing the border with Cyanika, take lunch before continuing to the park. Arrive in the park in the late afternoon, then settle into your lodge to unwind. Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking and afternoon canopy walk.

Before entering the jungle to look for the lively and playful males in Nyungwe forest, enjoy breakfast and get informed about the endangered chimpanzees. Because they converse and laugh while jumping from one tree to another, chimpanzees are considerably simpler to locate. The average tracking of chimpanzees lasts three hours. Spend an hour searching for them while shooting pictures and videos. After that, you’ll head back to your lodging for lunch.

You will take a walking trail after lunch that leads to the Canopy Walk, a swing bridge that is 50 meters long and hanging from big trees. Day 5: Transfer to back to Kigali.

So after an early breakfast at your lodge, set off on your trip back to Kigali. The drive takes around 3–4 hours from Nyungwe National Park, with stops at the palace of the Nyanza king and the Butare Museum. Do a city tour of Kigali, paying a visit to the genocide memorial, the market, and any craft stores if you have time before your flight. After lunch, proceed to the airport to catch your return flight.
